I am proud to be an ambassador for the UN Global Goals for Sustainability with many other amazing educators globally. My students each year view themselves as gate keepers and ambassadors for the goals as well. Learning through the Global Goals gives great purpose and a strong sense of responsibility to be a part of a solution for problems that impact us all. My students are proud and inspired to be involved with service-learning opportunities that promote care, kindness, and perserverance. The world needs everyone to care, care a lot.
Participate offers free online learning opportunities for the Global Goals.

As an educator one of my goals for my students is for them to learn how to learn. Through this idea I offer opportunities for my students to be actively engaged in learning. This way they can experience how through their positive actions, buliding an awareness for a common need, and increasing their own knowledge, they can become change makers. Though their experiences they inspire others and have their own thinking challenenged. This happens when we share our stories and reflect on our why of our work.
The Global Goals are at the core of what I need to be exploring with my students. I have found such positive outcomes for learning and making connections within the community through our service-learning work together.
The Global Goals are for everyone and impact us all.
